Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights September Sympathy Theme

Hello Welcome to the Kylie's August International blog highlight. My name is Donna Gray I come from a small suburb called Goonellabah which is situated in The Northern Rivers area of New South Wales in Australia. This is my second time blog highlighting with the international blog hopper's so I am so excited I was lucky enough on my first time being named in the top 10 so I am happy to be joining this blog highlight again. I hope you all like what I have made. The Theme for this highlight was a Sympathy Card which is not an easy card to make but the thought of how a card like this can offer comfort for someone who is going through such a sad time in their lives losing a loved one helps you create such a card. My go to stamp set had to be the Tranquil Tulips Hostess Stamp set to create this card as they are such beautiful flowers to make an elegant card I try to keep Sympathy cards quite simple but elegant at the same time.
This is the front of my Sympathy card as you can see the …

Stampin Up! Sept 2017 Big Shot Machine Special with Donna Gray

Stampin Up! Demonstrator Donna Gray September 2017 Bigshot Special!!!
If you want to cut out your stamped images or want to texture emboss your layers on your cards this is the machine for you. I have owned a big shot machine for about 8 years now It was one of my first craft items I purchased as I am not fussed on fussy cutting my stamped images out. I use my big shot everyday when I craft to cut shapes Detailed thinlets & to texture emboss when I make my cards In the last 8 years I would not like to imagine how many times this machine has cut things out & embossed but it is till going strong so for the initial outlay it has definitely paid for itself over & over again. For the month of September 2017 if you purchase a  Big Shot Machine I will personally send you The Happy Birthday Thinlet FREE!!!!! that is a $35 value of product that I will send out to you through the post if you use my September 2017 host Code 437RE77V
You will be able to cut out this large Happy Birthday thin…

Stampin Up!®Demonstrator Donna Gray Using The Beachy Little Christmas Stamp

Beachy Little Christmas Stamp is Perfect for the Aussie Xmas!!
Hi Welcome to my blog I am Donna Gray & I am a  Stampin Up!®Demonstrator from the Northern Rivers In New South Wales Australia  I love Christmas & I think it is the most exciting time to make cards as they are all so beautiful. I was asked quite often last year at the markets where I sell my hand made cards if I had some Christmas Cards that were more Aussie themed eg Kangaroos Koala's or the beach. Well you can imagine my excitement when I layed my eyes on The Beachy Little Christmas Stamp Set. I created this card using some sponging techniques for the background.
I made the base from our Bermuda bay Card stock Then layered with a layer of Melon Mambo Card Stock. Then on the Whisper White piece of card stock I cut a piece of copy paper to the shape of the sand dunes & sponged with Crumb Cake Ink I also sponged a circle up the top of the layer to look like a sun. For the water & sky I used Marina Mist Ink Pa…

Stampin Up!® Demonstrator Donna Gray Using The Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle

Snowflakes Sentiments Bundle
I don't know about you but although I live in Australia when I think of Christmas and making cards the first thing that pops into my mind is snowflakes & snowmen  I know we don't have snow at Christmas in Australia but one day I hope I will get a chance to be somewhere that I can enjoy a white christmas. With these thoughts in mind I was inspired to make this lovely snowflake Christmas card.
This Snowflake Sentiments Bundle can be found in my Online Store as well as all the items used in this card. I chose to use the Night of navy card stock & our silver foil sheets to make this card. If you would like to purchase any of these items during the month of September 2017 & you use my host code 437RE77V I will send you one of my hand made cards as a thank you crafted by me for you!!!
